Computer Port Baud Rate Selection
The controller's RS485 port baud rate is set with DIP switches 6 and 7. This setting
determines the speed used to communicate with the PC. All controllers connected to the
software through the same port must have the same baud rate. The default PC baud rate
is 38,400.

PC Connections
RS485 Connection
The URC-2000 controller supports a two-wire RS485 interface. The RS485 interface
allows the distance between the controller and the PC to be up to 4000 feet (1200
meters). RS485 requires one twisted pair shielded cable.
