BRAKING STANDARD
The brakes are used to stop the moving scrubber and to keep it steady on incli-
ned surfaces.
The TERA models are equipped with:
• Hydraulic or Mechanical drum service brake on rear wheels using pedal
12 or 13. See "COMPONENTS” .
Electric brake on front drive wheel
In the TERA models equipped with front electric drive wheel there is a braking
assisted by means of electric brake 1.
Electric brake 1 is integrated in the drive system of front in-wheel electric motor
2, the brake keeps the machine braked when it is o or when it is on but stopped.
The electric brake is equipped with a wing screw 3 to unlock and manually move
the machine when it is stopped. (for example: when the battery is missing). To
carry out this operation, proceed as follows:
Deactivating the electric brake to move the machine
(up to S/N 222214):
• To deactivate the electric brake 1, insert the wing screw 3 into its seat 4
on the electric brake and tighten it fully. During this operation, gently
push the machine back and forth to facilitate releasing the electric brake
1 and thus be able to manually move the machine.
• When nished, unscrew and remove the wing screw 3 to reactivate the
electric brake and apply the braking system and bring the machine back
to safe conditions.
Deactivating the electric brake to move the machine
(from S/N 222215):
• To deactivate the electric brake 1, Insert wing screw 3 into its seat 4 and
screw it clockwise it until the release arm 5 move away from the body
of the electric motor and thus be able to manually move the machine.
• When nished, unscrew it anticlockwise the wing nut 3 and remove it
from the release arm 4 to reactivate the electric brake and apply the bra-
king system and bring the machine back to safe conditions.
Remark!
Store the wing nut 3 together with the starting-key or in a
safe place and within reach in the event the machine has to
be moved.

FRENADO ESTÁNDAR
Los frenos sirven para detener la fregadora en movimiento y para mantenerla
parada en super cies inclinadas.
los modelos TERA incluyen:
• Frenado hidráulico o mecánico de servicio de tambor en las ruedas tra-
seras con pedales 12 o 13. “Vea COMPONENTES” .
Freno eléctrico en la rueda delantera de tracción
En los modelos TERA con rueda delantera de tracción es incorporado un freno
eléctrico 1.
EL freno eléctrico 1 está integrado en el sistema de tracción de la rueda delantera
de tracción con motor eléctrico 2, el freno mantiene frenada la máquina cuan-
do está apagada o cuando está encendida pero detenida. El freno eléctrico lleva
una llave de mariposa 3 para desbloquear y desplazar manualmente la máquina
cuando está detenida. (por ejemplo: si no lleva la batería). Para poder realizar esta
operación proceda de la manera siguiente:
Desbloquear el freno eléctrico para movimentar la machina
(Hasta la matrícula:222214):
• Para desbloquear el freno eléctrico 1, insertar la llave de mariposa 3 en
su alojamiento 4 situado en el freno eléctrico y enrósquela completa-
mente. Durante esta operación empuje un poco la máquina hacia de-
lante y hacia atrás para que sea más fácil desbloquear el freno eléctrico
y para poder mover manualmente la máquina.
• Cuando termine esta operación, desatornillar la llave de mariposa 3 y
quítela para reactivar el freno elèctrico y restablecer la machina de nue-
vo en condiciones de seguridad.
Desbloquear el freno eléctrico para movimentar la machina
(Desde la matrícula:222215):
• Para desbloquear el freno eléctrico 1, insertar la llave de mariposa 3 en
su asiento 4 en el freno eléctrico y apriétela hasta que la placa de resorte
5 libere el freno eléctrico 1 por lo tanto de poder mover manualmente
la máquina.
• Cuando termine esta operación, desatornillar la llave de mariposa 3 y
quítela para reactivar el freno elèctrico y restablecer la machina de nue-
vo en condiciones de seguridad.
Nota!
Guarde la llave de mariposa 3 con la llave de encendido o en
un lugar seguro y accesible por si es necesario mover la máq-
uina.
