REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Remove:
-the engine undertray bolts,
-the engine undertray.
a Remove the oil filter (see 10A, Engine and cylinder
block assembly, Oil filter: Removal - Refitting,
page 10A-48) .
a Fit the tools (Ms. 583) onto the oil-water heat ex-
changer cooling hoses (1) .
a Separate the clips from the oil-water heat exchanger
cooling hoses using the tool (Mot. 1448).
a Disconnect the oil-water heat exchanger cooling ho-
ses.
Essential special tooling
Ms. 583 Hose clamp pliers.
Mot. 1448 Long nose pliers for hose
clips.

60 N.m
IMPORTANT
Wear latex gloves during the operation.
