control indicator lights

Driver’s seat belt reminder
warning light
If the driver’s seat belt is not fastened
it begins to flash when the vehicle
reaches a speed of 12 mph (20 km/h)
and a buzzer sounds for approximately
two minutes.

Passenger air bag OFF
This warning light comes on
several seconds after the ignition is
switched on when the front passenger
air bags are deactivated (depending on
vehicle).

Preheating warning light
(diesel version)
This should come on when the igni-
tion is switched on. It indicates that the
heater plugs are in operation.
It goes out when preheating is com-
plete. The engine can be started.
