when the ignition is switched on.
Special note:
When the outside temperature is – 3 °C
to + 3° C, the °C characters flash (sig-
nalling a risk of black ice on the road).

to exposure, local air hu-
midity and temperature, the external
temperature alone is not sufficient to
indicate the presence of ice.
