  If the LED on your Renishaw Media Converter readhead is blank, it indicates a power issue. Ensure 5 V is supplied to the readhead. For cable variants, verify the correct wiring of the connector, noting that analogue and digital systems have different pin-outs. If you're using Ti, Ri, or cabled ACi interfaces, check that the interboard connector is properly seated and in the correct orientation. For FPC variants, confirm correct insertion and orientation of the FPC cable.
