6 Mode of Operation of Feed Hopper
NOTE
Motor blockage
The material being ground clogs the rotor
Blockages can damage mechanical components.
Feed material only while the device is running.
Dose the material feed to suit the properties of the material.
Turn on the device.
Pull the metering plunger (C) and the plunger (B) upwards.
Put the material to be ground into the filling hole(AE).
If necessary, use the metering plunger to push the material to be ground in
further.
Seize the plunger by the grip and pull the detent pin (D).
Press the plunger downwards slowly.
NOTE
Do not use excessive force on the plunger. Blockages can damage mechanical components.
In most cases, the plunger’s own weight is sufficient to press the material to be ground into the
grinding chamber.
If not, press the plunger to push the material in further, gently and in accordance with the
device’s capacity.
