Installation Procedure
Before you begin this procedure, make sure to turn off the main power switch, and then remove
the power cord from the outlet. If you do not, this may result in electrical shock and/or a
machine failure.
IMPORTANT:
Confirm the following settings and then change them if necessary, as described below. If you
do need to change them, inform the customer that this is necessary in order to install the
option.
1. Make sure that the following are not at their factory default values:
Supervisor login name and password
Administrator login name and password
2. Make sure that Admin. Authentication is ON.
[System Settings] – [Administrator Tools] – [Administrator Authentication Management] –
[Admin. Authentication]
3. Make sure that Administrator Tools is enabled (selected).

[Available Settings]
