The frame of the Load hybrid is separable
into front and rear halves to allow for easier
transport and storage.
• Lower the main kickstand.
• Open the two clamping screws on the left
brake lever and remove the brake lever
from the handlebar. Disconnect the head
-
light wire at the connector located under
the cargo area.
• Loosen the screws P on the steering link
-
age and pull the endpiece out of the
steering rod. Attach the steering linkage
(eg. with a cable tie) to the front frame.
• Remove the four screws S. It is helpful to
have a second person hold the rear of the
frame so that it cannot fall down. The front
frame remains standing on the front wheel
and kickstand.
• Reassemble in reverse order. Use new
thread adhesive (medium strength) and use
the recommended torque setting. Perform
a functional check of the brakes, lights and
steering. If necessary, the steering linkage
may have to be readjusted.
