DP1308A Service Guide
First Use of DP1308A
Make necessary inspections before using DP1308A to make sure that the instrument
can work normally
Power Requirement
DP1308A can accept four kinds of AC power supplies (100 V, 115 V, 220 V and 230 V)
with 50 Hz to 60 Hz frequency. You can select the desired input power using the
“power voltage selector” at the rear panel.
WARNING
Make sure that the power supply has been cut off and the instrument has
been installed with the specified fuse before switching the power.
Power-on Inspection
Please use the power cord supplied in the accessories to connect the instrument to AC
power. Then, follow the step below to perform power-on inspection.
1. Power on the instrument
Turn on the switch under the power hub at the rear panel. At this point, the
instrument is powered on.
WARNING
To avoid electric shock, make sure that the instrument is properly
grounded.
2. Turn on the power key
Press the power key at the front panel. The instrument starts up and
performs self-test. If the instrument passes the self-test, the user interface will be
displayed. Otherwise, “System power-on self-test has a mistake, view the error or
not?” will be displayed; at this point, press OK to get more information about the
self-test, or press Cancel to exit the prompt message.
