Output Inspection
The output inspection ensures that the instrument can respond to the front panel
operations properly and output the rated values. The output inspection mainly
consists of the voltage output with no load and the current output at short circuit of
each channel.
1. Channel selection and output switch
Press the channel selection key to select the corresponding output channel. The
channel currently selected is highlighted on the screen.
Figure 2-4 Output Channel Selection
Pressing the On/Off key under the channel selection key can enable or disable
the corresponding channel output no matter whether the channel is currently
selected. The key light turns on when the channel output is enabled and turns off
when the channel output is disabled.
2. Voltage Output Inspection
(1) Set the instrument to no load mode. Press and make sure that the
current setting value of each channel is not 0.
(2) Inspect the channel All On and All Off.
Press All On and prompt message is displayed to ask you whether to
enable the outputs of all the three channels. If yes, the On/Off key
corresponding to each channel will be illuminated and all the channels
will be in output mode; otherwise, the instrument will return back to the
original state.
Press All Off to disable the outputs of all the three channels and the key
light of the On/Off key corresponding to each channel turns off.
(3) Inspect the voltage function of +6 V channel.
Press +6V and the corresponding On/Off key. The On/Off key is
illuminated and the channel is in constant voltage output state. Inspect
whether the voltage can be adjusted from 0 to the maximum rated value (6.3
V).
