Chapter 3 To Acquire Calibration Service
Calibration Interval
The power supply requires regular calibration and the calibration interval depends on
your requirement for performance accuracy.
For applications that require relatively higher accuracy, a 90-day calibration interval is
recommended. In most of the cases, a 1-year calibration interval is acceptable. Note
that the accuracy can be guarranteed only when regular calibration is performed.
For any kind of application, a clibration interval longer than 1 year is not
recommended.
Calibration Notice
No matter which calibration interval you choose, RIGOL recommends that you
perform overall re-calibration when the calibration interval expires to ensure the
accuracy of DP1308A during the next calibration interval.
The accuracy of the instrument can not be guaranteed enven though the instrument
passes the performance test unless re-calibration is performed.
How to Acquire Calibration Service
For manual calibration method, refer to the DP1308A Calibration Guide.
Manual calibration by users is not recommended. If calibration is required, please
contact RIGOL client department or your local distributor.
