This is used to select one or more instruments with which to communicate.

matching address 00 to 31. All
other instruments are de-selected.
Communication with single
instrument.
96 De-select all instruments.
97 to 98 All instruments will execute
commands but none will respond.
Network blanket command
without reply.
99 All instruments are selected and
will respond. Reply contention
problems if more than one
instrument is on the network.
Only a single instrument (possibly
of unknown address) is present
on the network.
