Unit assembly

To connect the sections, perform the following work steps:
1. For each separation point, apply the foam tape (B) all around the tube frame at a section.
Gasket must be glued between the panel and row of holes.
2. Cut out holes or rivet nuts (E) in the foam tape (B).
3. If no doors are provided at the separation points, the marked panels must be removed for
better accessibility. If necessary, remove the appropriately marked panels.
4. If necessary, lift the section with a lifting jack if the casing connection holes are offset.
5. If necessary, tighten sections together with screw clamps.
6. Connect the sections from the inside with connecting screws (D). For sections that are only
accessible from one side, there are rivet nuts in the frame. In this case, apply the appropriate
connecting screws (F) by hand, screw in at least 10 mm and then tighten with a torque
30 Nm.
7. If necessary, mount the dismantled panels.
To ensure residue-free wiping out, separation points in the floor area downstream of the casing
connection must be sealed with microbially inert joint sealant according to VDI 6022.
TIP Microbially inert joint sealant according to VDI 6022
The manufacturer of a microbially inert joint sealant proves that the requirements of
VDI 6022 are met. The test procedures are described in ISO 846.
