Check bushings and hubs for friction-locked connection (see manufacturer's instructions).
A clearance
R gap cover
S Setting/locknut
Transport can change the
circumferential gap between the impeller
and the inlet nozzle. Measure the
clearance (S). The gap must be present
around the entire circumference and
must be the same distance apart. If
necessary, correct the gap on the
vibration damper using the lock nut and
the adjusting nut (A).
The gap overlap (R) must be approx. 1
% of the impeller diameter.
In the case of plug fan installation with
flexible connections, this test is not
required.
