OperatingyouraudiosysteminFMmode
1. Carefully extend the telescopic aerial and press On/Standby to switch on the
audio system.
2. Press Mode as needed to select the FM Radio mode.
3. Applyalongpress on the Menu Up button (on the remote control) or rotate
the Tuning control clockwise (on the unit) and then press the control. The
displayed frequency will increase. Your audio system will scan up the FM band
from the currently displayed frequency and will stop scanning when it nds a
station of sufcient strength.
4. The display will show the frequency of the signal which has been found. If RDS
information is available, after a few seconds the display will show the radio
station name.
If you only hear hiss or interference, applyalongpress on Menu Up to scan
further. Your radio may have found a spurious interference signal.
5. To scan down in frequency, applyalongpress on the Menu Down button (on
the remote control) or rotate the Tuning control anti-clockwise (on the unit) and
then press the control. Your audio system will scan down the FM band from
the currently displayed frequency and will stop scanning when it nds a signal
of sufcient strength.
6. Alternatively, the Auto Tune button (on the remote control) can also be used.
7. When the end of the waveband is reached your radio will recommence tuning
from the opposite end of the waveband. Adjust the volume as needed.
Manualtuning
1. Press Menu Up and Down to tune to a station. The frequency will change in
steps of 50kHz. Adjust the volume.
