Position of the limit switches
To understand the effects and functions of the different end-loop switches on the machine read this
chapter carefully.
T110i
This type of milling machine is equipped with 1 limit switch that guards the safety conditions.
- A limit switch that oversees when the access door is open: door open = machine cannot be
started.
T120S and T120L
These 2 versions are equipped with 2 limit switches to watch over the security conditions.
- A limit switch that oversees when the access door is open: door open = machine cannot be
started.
- A limit switch that oversees when the spindle is locked: locking lever down (fig 16 B) =
machine cannot be started.
T-120 P
This version has 5 limit switches.
- 2 limit switches as on T-120S and T-120 L.
- A limit switch on the fork (fig 29) that surveys that the maximum speed of 3000 RPM is chosen
when tenoning.
- Two limit switches to detect the spindle guard and ring guard position.
In case no protection (spindle or ring guard) when tenoning, it is necessary to put the belt in the groove
that corresponds to the speed of 30000 RPM in order to start the spindle.
When spindle guard and ring guard is installed you choose between the 5 speeds.
When tenoning only 3000 RPM !!!
