Entitlement
You can activate a new entitlement online or offline.
Activate a new entitlement
The Activate a New entitlement section provides two options for activating an entitlement
upgrade on the device: Online and Off line.
Online
• Insert the entitlement key: insert here your entitlement key when the device has the
access to the Internet. A pop-up with the activation confirmation (or a description of
the error that occurred) appears.
Offline
• Export an entitlement activation request for this device to a file: export a .req file that
can be used to activate the entitlement using the Entitlement Manager on an operator
panel that is connected to the internet. After activating the entitlement, an entitlement
.lic file is generated and is required to complete the offline entitlement activation on
the device.
• Install an already activated entitlement file into this device: import the .lic file
generated via Entitlement Manager to install the entitlement on the device. The System
Manager browses files searching for a .lic file to install, and a pop-up confirms the
activation or indicates any errors that occurred during the process.
Installed entitlements
Installed entitlements show the already present entitlements. Select Details to see all of the
entitlement details.
