EFX section
You can use effects to add spatial depth or a more expansive feel to the sound.
The S-1 features three kinds of built-in effects, including delay, reverb and chorus.
[DELAY] knob
This adds an echoing effect by delaying the sound and repeating the delay.
1.
Use the [DELAY] knob to adjust the volume of the delay sound (d0–d255).
You can set the delay time by turning the [DELAY] knob while holding down the [SHIFT] button.
Configuring the delay (DELAY)
1.
Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press [13] (DELAY) pad.
2.
Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select a parameter, and then press pad [2] (ENTER).
3.
Turn the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to edit the value.
(Delay
Sync)
Synchronizes the delay time to the tempo.
(Time)
When Delay Sync is OFF:1–740 (ms)
When Delay Sync is ON:(note value) *1
(Level)
Adjusts the volume of the delay sound.
You can use the “Delay Level Mode(P.68)” setting to select
whether to control the input or the output of the delay.
Adjusts the amount of feedback (repetition).
(Low Cut)

Cuts the frequencies below the frequency that you set.
No frequencies are cut when this is set to “FLAt ”.
(High Cut)
