Useful sequencer functions
Copying step (COPY)
1.
Press the [ó] (REC) button to make it light.
The step number is shown in the display.
2.
Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select the copy source step.
3.
Hold down the [STEP] button and press pad [15] (MENU).
4.
Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select “COPY”.
5.
Press pad [2] (ENTER).
“donE” appears, and the data for the selected step is ready to be pasted.
There is no effect on the pattern at this time.
Pasting a copied step (PSTE)
Follow the steps in “Copying steps (COPY)” beforehand to copy the data to be pasted.
1.
Press the [ó] (REC) button so the button is lit.
The step number is shown.
2.
Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select the paste destination step.
3.
Hold down the [STEP] button and press pad [15] (MENU).
4.
Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select “PStE”.
5.
Press pad [2] (ENTER).
“donE” appears, and the data of the copy source step overwrites the selected step.
Inserting an empty step (INSR)
1.
Press the [ó] (REC) button so the button is lit.
The step number is shown.
2.
Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select the insert destination step.
3.
Hold down the [STEP] button and press pad [15] (MENU).
4.
Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select “InSr”.
5.
Press pad [2] (ENTER).
“donE” is shown, and the empty step is inserted into the selected step, which shifts all steps afterwards by one step forward.
Copying all steps to double the length (DUPL)
1.
Press the [ó] (REC) button so the button is lit.
The step number is shown.
2.
Hold down the [STEP] button and press pad [15] (MENU).
3.
Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select “dUPL”.
4.
Press pad [2] (ENTER).
“donE” appears, and the steps from step 1 through the last step are copied after the last step, doubling the length.
