the removal
of the
ball bearing, remove

screws M6x16
alongwith
washersfrom
gear
cover, heat
up cover
to
80o
+
100o
C
(180"+
210o
D
and
push
bearing
towards
inside,
using
suitable
punch.
I
NOTE:
As
the oil seal will
be
damaged
thereby,
it has
to be renewed.
Clean dis-assembled gearbox
with
kerosine
or
gasoline
and
check
following
compo-
nents:

Crankshaft
bearing
bush 28 mm

fitted in
cover,
check
for inside
diameter
and tight fit,

Checking
of
prop
shaft
bearings.
On
the temporarily
assembled
crankcase
with roller
bearing
and
gearbox
cover, with
prop
shaft
frtted,
take readings
of
radial
and axial clearance
beside bearings,
using
a dial
gauge.
