The
gap
between
pump
cover and
rotor
ass'y to
be max. 0,2 mm
(0,008
in.).
A
bigger
gap greatly
reduces
pump
capacitiy.
At notice-able furrows on mating
faces
of
revolving
piston
and
rotor, renew
both
components.
Remove
pressure
control
valve, clean it
and
inspect
ball seat
in
pump
housing. Clear
all oil
passages
by
compressed
air.

F). At idle
speed,
pressure
drops
to 1,5 bu
(22p.s.i.).
Oil
pressure
has to raise
within
10
seconds after engine
start.

lubrication system:

stopped
and the oil
supply
line to the oil
pump
to
be vented as
follows:
First
block oil
return line by clamp and
then connect compressed
air

oil tank to the oil
pump
within

sec.
Remove
clamp
from oil
return line and
reconnect
vent line.
