Checking
of
the slipping
torque
Clamp
gear
cover ass'y with
fitted
prop
shaft
and overload
clutch
to
a suitable
support.
Measure
slipping
torque
using a specific
lever
(e.g.
1,5
m long)
and
spring
scale.

mean
value
by
pulling
through
several times
slowly.

slipping
torque is
calculated

setting
the
pre-load
of
the
spring in
the
overload
clutch.
Disassembly
of
gearbox
Place gearbox
under
suitable fixture
O and
put pressure
viayoke
O on
dog
gearuntil
ring
halves
0 come free
and
can be
taken off. Now
release
pressure
from
gear
by
turning
spindle
back
()
and
remove gearbox
from
fixture.
Remove
retaining
ring
6
(on
engine version
with
vacuum
pump,
retaining
ring
is
executed
as drive
gear),
thrust
washer
and
dog
gear
ass'y. Force
apart
bush
@ by
circlip
pliers
and
withdraw
from
shaft.
I ATTENTION:
Don't
overstress
bearing
bush
@,
otherwise it
will
become
unus-
able.
