5.1.3 Set the commissioning parameters
To set the commissioning parameters, the heating expert must
be logged into the controller.

t required commissioning parameters. Here the supplied
"Commissioning Checklist" is to be observed and completed.
– Fo
r clarification of the operating parameters, see
Operating Manual of the Control Unit.
– Enter configuration values into the corresponding tables
in the "Notes" chapter of the Operating Manual for the
Control Unit.
Ɣ Activa
te Legionella protection ([Antileg Tag] parameter) if
required.
Ɣ With conn
ected external temperature RoCon OT1, set the
parameter [SKonfig T-Aussen] to "Ein".
Ɣ Config
ure additional commissioning parameters depending
on the system requirements for the control unit of the ROTEX
HPSU compact.
5.1.4 Venting the internal heating circulation pump
Ɣ Vent the internal heat circulation pump as follows:
– Activate Entlüftungsfunktion
(see section 5.1.5).
– Open ventilation screw on heat circulation pump.
– Allow pump wheel to run until water emerges from the
ventilation screw without bubbles.
– Close ventilation screw on the heat circulation pump
a
gain.

If the storage temperature falls below a certain
minimum value, the safety settings of the ROTEX
HPSU compact prevent the operation of the heat pump
in the case of low external temperatures:
– Extern
al temperature < -2 °C, minimum storage
temperature = 30 °C
– External temperature < 12 °C, minimum storage
temperature = 23 °C.
Without backup-heater:
The storage tank water must be heated to the minimum
required storage temperature by an external heater.
With Backup Heater (BUxx):
With an outdoor temperature < 12 °C and a storage
ta
nk temperature < 35 °C, the Backup Heater (BUxx) is
switched on automatically on in order to heat up the
storage tank water to at least 35 °C.
Ɣ In order to accelerate the heating process with
the back-up heater, temporarily
– Set parameter [F
unktion EHS] = "1" and
– Set parameter [Leistung WW] to the maximum
value of the back-up heater.
– Switch the rotary switch
to operating mode
and set the parameter [1x Warmwasser] to
"Ein". Following successful heating, reset the
parameters to "Aus".
