The operator's view from the cockpit may be obstructed by one or more of the following variable conditions:
1) load and load distribution;
2) speed;
3) sea conditions;
4) reduced visibility (through rain, darkness and fog);
5) reduced visibility (by changing and hoisting sails);
6) the craft's interior lights;
7) position of the awnings or curtains;
8) people or mobile equipment within the helmsman's field of vision (particularly sails).
A watchful eye must be kept, especially when sailing under genoa or gennaker.

The main wheelhouse of the craft is located at the flying bridge
