Operation of the 220V AC system is fully automatic
- If there is no external power supply (neither from the generator nor from the shore): the converter supplies 220V to most
onboard systems (excluding the watermaker, water heater, air conditioning, etc.).
- If the generator is running: it powers everything on board
- The shore extension cable (see below in paragraph "B"): 220V - 50 Hz equipment
In the last 3 cases, the converter switches automatically to its “CHARGER” function and recharges the service batteries.
