XIII - TENDER
1) Important recommendations (excerpt from the TENDERLIFT manual)
A Tenderlift is designed to manoeuvre a dinghy for launching, taking it out of the water and transporting
it.
It must be operated: by the captain of the boat, the owner, or by qualified personnel on board in the case
of charter use. All users of the platform should be aware of all the recommendations below.
CAUTION - DANGER!
Hydraulic installations are capable of developing enormous forces. Never expose yourself to or restrain
hydraulic equipment during operation.
THE TENDERLIFT MUST BE USED IN A SHELTERED ANCHORAGE. IT IS UP TO THE CAPTAIN TO JUDGE
SEA CONDITIONS BEFORE ANY HANDLING OF THE TENDERLIFT.
NEVER SUBMERGE THE TENDERLIFT WHEN THE CRAFT IS NOT STATIONARY.
NEVER USE THE TENDERLIFT WHEN THE BOAT IS ASHORE TO LIFT AN INDIVIDUAL.
For full information on how to use the platform please refer to
