XI - COMFORT
3.3 Use of the main tank
The main tank is located in the starboard forward locker
(capacity 350 litres)
The main shut-off valve is located under the starboard forepeak
floor.
Do not use abrasive and aggressive maintenance liquids and deodorising
agents (such as pine for example).
Keep informed of the local regulations for the protection of the environment and follow the code of good practices.
Observe local regulations for discharging black water tanks. A hole in the at-sea discharge valve allows this valve to be
sealed in the closed position.
Do not empty the toilets or the contents of the retention tanks close to the shore or in prohibited zones and use the
port or marina pumping systems to empty the holding tanks before leaving the port.
Keep yourself up to date with the international marine pollution regulations (Marpol) and observe them as far as
possible.
