B1 – Direct current circuit:
See drawing DDF ELC 061 001 and 002
There are 3 separate networks:
The voltage/current/temperature of the entire system is monitored.
These networks share the same negative poles.
1/2- Propulsion and generator => one 12V DC 50Ah battery in each compartment for the engine (+ generator in the
starboard hull).
These 2 batteries can be connected to each other by means of a circuit breaker, located on the starboard side
(EMERGENCY ENGINE START).
This circuit breaker must be CLOSED for start-up and OPEN after start-up.
The charge is supplied by the standard engine alternators.
3 - service => 24V 600 Ah battery bank (as standard) under the floor of the chart table. The service bank is managed by the
SCHEIBER multiplex system (see below).
The charge is provided by the additional engine alternators, the 220/24V charger and the solar panels.
The charging current and temperature are controlled.
