IX - SAILING
POSITION the external safety (lifebuoys, rafts, etc.).
Switch on electronic equipment: speedometer, loch, GPS, VHF,
etc. depending on the options installed
In a strong wind, stow anything that can move
Before sailing at night, check that the navigation lights are in
working order
In the event of a defect, the lights must be replaced by
equipment of equivalent performance
