Starting the engines:
Press the 'IGNITION' button, after the EVC system (e-Key) has been unlocked (if necessary).
On the SCHEIBER panel, check that the "ENGINE READY" light is on - (for automatic activation of the motorised
compartment fans).
Check the engines (oil and coolant levels, belts, etc.) - Refer to the engine service manual.
Start the engines with the "START/STOP" command and check that the engines are running.
Check that the engine cooling water drains through the exhaust and that the anti-siphon is working. In the
event of a failure, read the engine manual carefully.

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a highly toxic
gas causing asphyxiation. Never inhale
exhaust gases.
When diesel heating is in operation,
always check that the exhaust fumes are properly
evacuated to the outside through the stainless steel hull gland
above the
waterline.
