Criteria
Cause of problem
● When “Inspection required” is determined for service valve, an error will be displayed on the relevant outdoor unit.
● When “Inspection required” is determined for service valve, auto inspect will end. If service valve is being inspected, please inspect the
service valves of both liquid line and gas line at the same time.
● If 4-Way valve, Main EEV inspection is required, please differentiate by analyzing the Data after running heating operation or test-run for
at least 1 hour.
● Normal inspections may be difficult if the outdoor unit is implanted or if defrost operation is running.
In this case, please run heating operation or test-run for at least 1 hour.
● Errors may occur even in normal conditions if outside of the guaranteed range.

- Refrigerant-induced noise during compressor operation and Accum.
Intake side pipe temperature will be maintained at more than 10°C above
evaporation temperature
- During heating, indoor side Eva.In/Out temperature will be maintained at
minus (-) °C
❈ Problematic Main EEV operation symptoms
- During heating operation there will be faulty compressor intake overheat
control
: If operations are faulty when completely opened, the target degree
of overheating (1°C) will not be reached (0°C) while a low compressor
discharge temperature will be maintained
: If operations are faulty when completely closed, low pressure will fall and
the intake overheating of the compressor will increase excessively.
