ThecolorofthestatusLEDindicatesthemachine'scurrentstatus.
StatusDescription
Off•Themachineisoff-line.
•Themachineisinpowersavermode.Whendataisreceived,oranybuttonispressed,itswitches
toon-lineautomatically.
OnThemachineison-lineandcanbeused.
FaxThemachineissendingorreceivingfaxes.
CopyThemachineiscopyingdocuments.
ScanThemachineisscanningdocuments.
Green
Blinking
Print•WhenthestatusLEDslowlyblinks,themachineisreceivingdatafromthecomputer.
•WhenthestatusLEDblinksrapidly,themachineisprintingdata.
On•Theimagingunitisattheendofitslifespan.Removetheoldimagingunitandinstallanewone.
•Thetonercartridgeistotallyempty.Removetheoldtonercartridgeandinstallanewone.
•Apaperjamhasoccurred.
•Thedoorisopen.Closethedoor.
•Thereisnopaperinthetray.Loadpaperinthetray.
•Themachinehasstoppedduetoamajorerror.Checkthedisplaymessage.
•Thewastetonercontainerisnotinstalledinthemachine,orfullwastetonercontainer.

Blinking•Aminorerrorhasoccurredandthemachineiswaitingfortheerrortobecleared.Checkthe

qualitybyredistributingthetoner.

stopsprinting.
