Important!
TalkBack can collect all of the text you enter,
except passwords, including personal data and
credit card numbers. It may also log your
interactions with the device.
•Dark screen
: Keep the screen turned off at all times for
privacy. Double press the Power key to turn this function on or
off. This function is only available if TalkBack is turned on.
• Rapid key input
: Release your finger to select instead of
having to double tap. This function is only available if TalkBack
is turned on.
• Speak passwords
: To on this feature to read the characters
aloud as you enter passwords. For your protection, this
feature is inactive by default. This function is only available if
TalkBack is turned on.
•Font size
: Changes the size of the fonts used on the device
within menus, options, and so on. Choose from: Tiny, Small,
Normal, Large, or Huge.
• Magnification gestures
: Uses exaggerated gestures such as
triple-tapping, double pinching, and dragging two fingers
across the screen.
• Notification reminder
: Beep at set intervals to remind you of
any unread notifications.
• Negative colors
: Reverses the display of onscreen colors
from White text on a Black background to Black text on a White
background.
• Color adjustment
: Adjusts the display colors if you are color
blind and have difficulty reading the display because of the
colors. Touch the
ON/OFF
button to turn it on. Follow the
onscreen instructions.
• Accessibility shortcut
: Quickly enables accessibility features
in two quick steps. Touch the
ON/OFF
button to turn it on.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
• Text-to-speech options
: Adjusts your text-to-speech
settings. For more information, refer to “Speech” on page 185.
Hearing
• Flash notification
: Sets your camera light to blink whenever
you receive a notification.
• Turn off all sounds
: Mutes every sound made by the device.
• Hearing aids
: Improve the sound quality of your device for use
with hearing aids.
