Find My Mobile
Find My Mobile is a device location service provided by
Samsung.
Note:
A Samsung account is required in order to use this
feature. For more information, refer to “Signing In to
Your Samsung Account” on page 180.
The following configurations are available:
1.
Remote controls
: Turn this option On to enable you to
remotely lock and erase data on your lost device.
2.
SIM change alert
: Receive an alert if someone attempts
to change the SIM card on your device.
3.
Go to website
: Launch the Find My Mobile website from
Samsung.
4.
Reactivation lock
: Enable this feature to prevent your
device from reactivating after a factory reset.
Factory Data Reset Password
Use this option to set up a password for a factory data reset.
1. From the
Settings
screen, touch
Security
➔
Set up/change password
.
2. Enter a password and touch
Confirm
.
3. Enter the password again and touch
Confirm
.
Set Card Lock
To prevent another person from using your SIM card to make
unauthorized calls or from accessing information stored on
your SIM card, you can protect the information by using a
PIN code.
When enabled, your device asks for a PIN number each time
you use the phone. Using this option you can also change
your SIM PIN number.
1. From the
Settings
screen, touch
Security
➔
Set up SIM card lock
.
2. Touch
Lock SIM card
, enter your SIM PIN code, then
touch
OK
.
Note:
You must activate
Lock SIM card
before you can change
your SIM PIN code.
