4 Media sensing
WS printers offer two types of media sensor: transmissive and reflective.
They are used for detecting specific media types.
4.1.1 Transmissive sensor
The transmissive sensor is fixed and placed near the centre of the printhead.
It is used for detecting gaps across the entire width of the label.
