3. Rotate the green control wheel (7) in the
gear limit switch upward.
4. Extend the chain using the control
pendant.
Before inserting the chain, ensure the following:
1. Use only original chains.
2. Oil the entire length of the load chain (also during use). The interlocking links / friction surfaces
must be lubricated at all times. They must be lubricated with gear oil that is capable of creep,
using either the dipping method or with an oil can.
3. The lifting height must be measured such that the hook fitting rests on the floor in the lowest
hook position.
4. The welded seam on the chain links must face inwards on the chain wheel (Fig. 9).
5. Press and hold down the rocker (4) when inserting or replacing the chain in order to deactivate
the gear limit switch (see chapter 5.3).
Inserting a new chain:
1. Connect the end of the chain (1) to a
flexible wire and feed it into the chain hoist
via the chain wheel (3).
2. Pull in the chain (1) using short switching
pulses (Fig. 9).
Note: A special insertion tool can be purchased
from the manufacturer for easier insertion of the
chain.
3. Attach the chain end to the housing (2) Fig.
10).
The chain piece after the end stop (1) must be
adapted to the height of the chain box. The
chain piece must be of sufficient length that the
end stop rests on the floor of the chain box
when the chain enters the box.
The welded
seam must face
inward.
