- Glucose Testing -
4. Obtain blood sample using the lancet and lancing device.
5. Hold your finger to the tip of the glucose test strip until the yellow window is completely
filled with blood. Do not place the blood drop on top of the glucose test strip.
6. The blood will be drawn into the glucose test strip automatically. If beeper is turned on,
Analyzer will beep to let you know the test is beginning.
7. When blood is applied to the glucose test strip, the screen counts down from 5 to 1 second
and your result appears on the display in 5 seconds.
8. The LCD display will be changed by following screen by 2 methods. First, discard a glucose
test strip. Second, LCD display is changed by the lipid test mode after 3 seconds without any
action. The LCD display is following with flashing a lipid parameter icon such as TC, TG and/
or HDL.

9. Open the Measurement Chamber Flap. The flap firmly locks into place when it reaches a
vertical position.
10. Apply the free hanging drop of blood directly from the pipette or capillary tube to the
sample application area of the lipid test strip. Do not touch the application area.
11. The screen, 'CLO', to close the Measurement Chamber Flap will appear during 3 seconds,
and then count down to 3 minutes automatically. You should close the flap within the first
20 seconds during a 3 minute countdown, otherwise E-7 error will appear.
12. Your result appears on the screen in 3 minutes. When the test is done, pull out the used lipid
test strip. The Analyzer shuts off automatically in 3 seconds after you remove the test strip.

t If you select the auto print function, the test result is printed automatically after finishing the test.
