The SD LipidoCare®Analyzer for glucose is designed for testing fresh capillary whole blood
samples (for example, blood from your fingertip, palm, upper arm, or forearm). Do not use the
SD LipidoCare®Analyzer for glucose of serum or plasma or arterial, venous whole blood.

There is a potential risk of infection. We recommend that healthcare professionals using the SD
LipidoCare®Analyzer to perform measurements for more than one patient use gloves and follow
all other locally applicable health and safety regulations.
Operating conditions
To ensure proper function of your SD LipidoCare®Analyzer, observe the following guidelines:
t Operate the Analyzer only within the acceptable temperature range. This range is test-
dependent:
- For Lipid Testing 18-32 °C (64-90°F)
- For Glucose Testing 10-45 °C (50-113°F)
t In order to perform a measurement, place the Analyzer on a level surface or hold it in your
hand.
t Strong electromagnetic fields may impair the function of the Analyzer. Do not use the
Analyzer close to sources of strong electromagnetic radiation.
