A trim knob is used to change the jet
pump nozzle trim angle manually and
to adjust the ride to suit water condi-
tions and driver preferences. Refer to
illustration above.

fine tuning.

20) Jet Pump Water Intake
The water is drawn in by the impeller
through this opening. The water in-
take grate minimizes the entry of for-
eign objects into the propulsion sys-
tem.
WARNING
Keep away from intake grate while
engine is on. Items such as long
hair, loose clothing or person-
al flotation device straps could
potentially become entangled in
moving parts resulting in severe
injury or drowning.
