INTRODUCTION
Congratulations, you are now the
proud owner of a Sea-Doo personal
watercraft. You have selected one

water. Your Sea-Doo
®
personal wa-
tercraft (PWC) can provide you and
your family or friends the opportunity
to fully enjoy the natural beauty and
excitement of the worldswaterways.
Welcome to fun on water!
With this new enjoyment and free-
dom however comes the responsibil-

you lend your watercraft to, and oth-
er water users. Please follow all safe-
ty instructions and operate your wa-
tercraft with care. Be sure every op-
erator of your watercraft fully under-
stands the controls and operation of it
and the importance of courteous, re-
sponsible riding. Each operator has a
responsibility to ensure the safety of
other water users.

ethe
correct use of the watercraft.
Failure to follow the instru

that operators obtain further informa-
tion concerning Boating Rules from
a local Coast Guard Auxiliary, Power-

authorities.
Many states or provinces have re-

competence boating course. Check
with your local Coast Guard or Power
Sail Squadron in your area for course
availability.
Some boating safety information can
be obtained from the Boating Safe-
ty/Regulation Web sites listed at the
