Hit the key corresponding to the required element.

Edit the geophone parameters

Resistance of geophone coil in (Rc).
Freq
Natural frequency of coil (Fn or sometimes F

Sens
Sensitivity of coil in V/m/s (G).
Damp
Damping of coil (B

Dist
Distortion limit in %.
Fdis
Frequency at which distortion will be tested in Hz.
Mexc
Moving mass excursion in m.
Mass
Moving mass in g.
Temp
Temperature at which specs are valid will be
performed in ºC.
Res, Freq, Damp, Sens, Dist, Mexc and Mass can be found on the
manufacturers data sheet for the particular element in use.
TIP: use the +/- key to switch between metric and imperial units if necessary
2.16.2.2.3 Copy
Copy existing element description to a new geophone type
Hit

, a new description will be generated with the filename *newspec# where # is the allocated
sequential file number. This will then be the selected geophone.

Deletes an existing element description
