• Select Process Raw Data or Process Raw Data
(Select Background) from the File menu. Standard raw
data processing will use the background file contained
in the .RBN file. If you would like to use a different
background file than the one in the RBN file, use the
Process Raw Data (Select Background) option. If you
use this option, you will be prompted for a .BGT file
first.
• You will be asked to select the .RBN file you would
like to process.

• Next, select the output data file name. The default file
name shown is the same as the raw file name but with
a .PBN extension. You can change this name if you
wish.
• If other output types are selected they will
automatically have the same base name but with
different extensions.
• Note: file types other than the default PBN file must
have been selected before selecting Process Raw
