State LED Meaning Measure
Red Failure: severe bus error. Com-
munication via CAN system bus is
not possible.
• Check if the bus is terminated
correctly.
• Check the wiring.
Yellow Warning: Communication is pos-
sible on the CAN system bus, but
malfunctions occur frequently.
• Check the wiring.
• Check the shield connections.
• Check whether connected sta-
tions function properly.
• Check if the bus is terminated
correctly.
Green Bus OK: The CAN system bus is
working without faults.
