B. Installation of the paper pass unit
1) Open the front cabinet. Remove the screws, and remove the
front cabinet upper.
2) Disengage the pawls, and remove the paper exit tray cover.
3) Remove the screws, and remove the paper exit tray.
4) Remove the paper exit full detection actuator (A), and install
the reverse detection actuator (B) (Packed items).
* Be careful of the installing direction of the reverse detection
actuator.
5) Engage the projection of the main unit frame with the hole in
the right cover plate (Packed items), and install the right cover
plate and fix it with the fixing screw A (Packed items).
* Be sure to clamp and fix the paper exit tray shifter side plate
with the fixing guide.
6) Insert the rib of the interface left cabinet (Packed items) into
the slit on the lower surface of the scanner left cabinet. Install
the interface left cabinet with the fixing screw A (Packed items)
of the paper exit tray which was removed in procedure 4).
