SENDING DOCUMENTS
Using the HOLD/SEARCH key

you
don’t
remember
the
Rapid
Key
or
Speed
Dial
number
in
which
you
have
stored
a
particular
fax
number,
you
can
search
for
the
number
by
following
the
steps
below.
Once
you
have
found
the
number,
you
can
dial
it
and
transmit
the
loaded document
by
simply
pressing
the
START
key.
Press the HOLD/SEARCH key and
HOLD/SEARCH
then
the
"1"
key.

Enter
the
first
letter
of
the
stored
name
BC DEF by pressing the appropriate number key
(the key below the marked letter) one or
more times until the letter appears in the
display. If the name begins with a spe-
cial character or number, press "1".
e If you don’t remember the first letter,
go to Step 3 (you will scroll through
the list from the beginning).
e If aname wasn’t stored for the num-
ber, press "0". This will cause num-
bers, not names, to appear when you
scroll.
3 Press the "#" key or the "%" key to scroll
through the names (numbers if you
pressed "0"). Stop when the desired
or name appears in the display.
e If no names have been stored that be-
gin with the entered letter, you will
scroll from the next name, in alphabeti-
cal order, in the list. If no names/num-
bers have been stored at all, NO
DATA will appear.
