5.5Replacing Photomultiplier
Be sure to read “5.1 Precautions for Maintenance and Inspection”.
Degraded photomultiplier will result in deterioration of sensitivity.
Make replacement with the following procedure.

WARNING
High temperature
You might suffer burns. Be sure to confirm that each part has cooled down
before starting the operations.
CAUTION
Be sure to turn OFF the power of the Gas Chromatograph main unit before
starting replacement.
1.
Turn OFF the power of the FPD according to “5.2 Turning OFF the power”.
2.
Remove the INJ/DET cover of the GC-2010 main unit after the FPD unit is sufficiently cooled.
