5.4Maintenance and Replacement of the Filter
Be sure to read “5.1 Precautions for Maintenance and Inspections”.
Contamination of the filter will result in deterioration of the detection sensitivity. Clean the filter according to
the procedure below.

WARNING
High temperature
You might suffer burns. Be sure to confirm that each part of FPD has
cooled down before starting the operations.
CAUTION
Be sure to turn OFF the power of the Gas Chromatograph main unit before
performing maintenance works.
1.
Turn OFF the power of the FPD according to “5.2 Turning OFF the power”.
2.
Remove the INJ/DET cover of the GC-2010 main unit after the FPD unit is sufficiently cooled.
