It is essenal to understand how the X, Y, and Z axes are oriented, and how this relates to job setup in
the CAD/CAM soware. Shown below is an example of a job in VCarve Pro and its corresponding orien-
taon on each machine model.
The boom le corner is referred to as the XY home locaon or “zero, zero” (See Secon 3 for more
informaon).
