Dangerous shock currents
connect the motor housing to the ground of the machine or
connect the ground terminal of the motor connector to the central ground
point of the machine.
→ Consider the following with regard to shielding: Always use shielded
motor cables.

Voice coil motors are generally connected via the motor phases U and W. The current
parameters of voice coil motors can only be indicated as sine peak amplitudes (A

), not
as RMS values (A
rms
).

13.13 Housing Ground
If required, you can ground the device at the housing. For this purpose a press nut la-
beled is provided.
Use an M4 screw (max. length 8 mm) and a spring washer for grounding.
13.14 Mounting of the Shield Connection Clamps
Depending on the device variant you can fasten the shield connection clamps either at
the lower plate edge of the device housing or at the punched out slot holes in the bottom
plate of the device housing.
